Well, here we are. I must admit this feels a lot like Groundhog Day, as the United States voters will go to the polls to determine control of congress, control of state governments, and the short-term future of America.

I personally feel the lowest that I have felt in years. There are reasons for this. We are in a moment in history, but the moment seems to have lost all meaning. So many conflicting messages, so many good and bad sentiments from both the far-right and the far-left have left people like me, a man who is politically neutral or in the middle, LOST.

When 2019 ended, I thought that 2020 would be somewhat more stable. While I knew that it was an election year, and I did expect some challenges, I never saw this coming.
