A thinly veiled attempt to guess 2022

Well, here we are. I must admit this feels a lot like Groundhog Day, as the United States voters will go to the polls to determine control of congress, control of state governments, and the short-term future of America.

Well, this is certainly a post that I didn’t expect to write while I was in college… nor did I expect to write about a sequel to one of my favorite franchises in cinema.

On April 6, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham signed Senate Bill 304, which creates a citizen redistricting commission that will propose new legislative and congressional districts.

Opinion: I love the internet, and that’s why it’s current form must die.

I have been thinking about this topic for a while now, and while it doesn’t fit into my responsibilities for the DailyLobo, I feel like I must address this issue as it continues to spiral out of control.

Game Over? UNM Men’s basketball season in jeopardy.

After calling off it’s series against San Diego State, and after a press session with coach Paul Weir, it is yet to be seen if the University of New Mexico’s men’s basketball program will finish its season.

What Now? 2020 pt.2

Well… I don’t quite know how to begin this. I never expected to write about this subject, nor do I think that we as a society would have to grapple with the questions that we now find ourselves asking. 

The Last of Us pt.2 and all that Surrounds it

Pt.1: It has been nearly two weeks since The Last of Us 2 came out, and to say that people are opinionated about the game would be an understatement. I have waited to tell my thoughts about The Last of Us 2 till now, and after sitting and taking a week to think about the game, I have my thought’s in order and am ready to explain them to anyone that listens.

Pt.2: While Pt.1 of my look at The Last of Us 2 was focused on my view of the game. Today’s part is about all the other things that surround this game. There is a lot to dive into, so let’s get started.

Thoughts as I turn 21

I personally feel the lowest that I have felt in years. There are reasons for this. We are in a moment in history, but the moment seems to have lost all meaning. So many conflicting messages, so many good and bad sentiments from both the far-right and the far-left have left people like me, a man who is politically neutral or in the middle, LOST.

2020 Pt.1

When 2019 ended, I thought that 2020 would be somewhat more stable. While I knew that it was an election year, and I did expect some challenges, I never saw this coming.
